All Plants can be classified as either annual, biennial or perennials . Annual plants (produce seeds, grow and die) normally in one season .
Biennial plants produce seeds, grow and die over two seasons. Perennials are normally reserved for plants that live for longer than one year.
The benefits of perennials over other types of plants include generally less upkeep because of the deeper roots and no need to replace every

seed so their "off-springs" can live beyond the original planting. Some perennials bloom at 7 feet tall.
